Overview
The Stonebridge mural is the latest addition to the people, places and spaces section of the Inspire to Achieve programme in association with the National Heritage Lottery.
The colourful mural is situated at Bridgestone Arena and home of the Jason Roberts Foundation and backs on to the Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, the former school of Dave Regis, Otis Roberts and Jason Roberts MBE.
The legendary Cyrille Regis MBE heads up the family connection spanning three generations and four decades of football, administration and leadership, who grew up in Stonebridge, whose careers took them to the heights of the top flight and international football in England via New Zealand, Hong kong and Grenada.
These athletes inspired to achieve and are still very much connected to the area which gave them their childhood memories hailing from Palmers Court, Stonebridge Estate.
